   The following display of babushkas is an original collection of handformed, handpainted figurines by sculptural ceramicist Marlene Rudginsky.
    Each one highlights a special moment in the artist's or a friend's life. The figurine is tenderly sculpted out of earthenware, painted with underglaze, glazed and highlighted with china paint or liquid gold. The whole process includes up to four firings in the kiln.
    Please note because each piece is an individual creation not a mold it will be similar in type but may vary in shade, color, shape and size.
